Executive Assistant/Office Manager

Position Summary
The Executive Assistant serves as the assistant to the president, as well as serving the overall office management and frequently working as project manager. Executive Assistant responsibilities include managing the scheduling, travel plans, correspondence, and other administrative needs of the President, including assisting the President’s communications with Trustees, donors, and staff.
 
Office management responsibilities include managing office finances, including bookkeeping and oversight of payroll and benefits; overseeing the office calendar and internal deadlines; overseeing human resources issues; recruiting and hiring interns; and other daily office functions. The Executive Assistant also serves as the first point of contact with Trinity Forum callers and visitors. The Executive Assistant manages other projects such as the timely publication of Trinity Forum Readings, production of our daily “What We’re Reading” reading recommendations, the management of awarded grants, and the reporting of sales of the D.C. inventory of Trinity Forum resources.
 
Candidates must have excellent organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills, be highly detail-oriented, and demonstrate initiative and flexibility in proactively managing multiple diverse projects. Additional project management opportunities will be available to those with strong writing, editorial, research, marketing, web, social media, or graphic design skills.
