Mark Berner

Mark F. C. Berner is a Managing Partner of SDG Resources, L.P., an oil and gas company with operations in Texas, New Mexico, and Wyoming. He is a Trustee of the Trinity Forum and a regular Moderator.

His career has been primarily in finance and law. In 1995 he was senior vice president of Turnbury Capital, and from 1992–1995 he was director of the First Boston Special Situations Fund. From 1986–1992 he was a partner in Anderson Kill & Olick, New York, specializing in corporate restructurings and bankruptcies.

Mark holds a B.A. magna cum laude with honors in history from Yale University, an M.A. in philosophy and theology from the University of Oxford, and a J.D. from Villanova University. He serves on the board of directors of Elder-Beerman Stores, Inc., Thinksheet, Inc., the American Anglican Council, and FOCUS (Fellowship of Christians in Universities and Schools), and is on the vestry of Calvary / St. George’s Episcopal Church. He lives in New York City and Bridgehampton, New York.
