Dear Friends,
We are excited to kick off this fall by welcoming the new class of Trinity Forum Academy Fellows. This group of twelve outstanding young leaders comes from across the country (hometowns include Chicago, Honolulu, Los Angeles and Pensacola) and from a range of experiences (former professions include investment banking, working with handicapped adults, graphic design and medical research). They have all come to the Academy eager to pursue their calling before God, to build community and to dive into the rigorous curriculum. We are anticipating a fantastic year. Included here is a brief PDF bio sheet of the Fellows.
Our feature article is by Class of 2006 alumna Sorcha-Brophy Warren, who takes a critical look at how the concept of thrift, once an integral part of American ideology, has been lost to new generations. Her broader research efforts on this topic were recently highlighted in a national conference in Washington, DC and in the publication of several reports and journal articles.
If you would like to learn more about how to be a part of the Academy community by getting to know the Fellows, attending a lecture, or simply joining us for a meal, we’d love to hear from you.
Sincerely,
Staff of the Trinity Forum Academy

Who am I?
This is the first fundamental question the Fellows wrestle with in the curriculum. Recent readings include Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s The Cost of Discipleship, Dallas Willard’s The Spirit of the Disciplines, Bertrand Russell’s Why I Am Not a Christian and Fyodor Dostoevsky’s The Brothers Karamazov.
Annual Conference
In February 2009, Dr. Francis Collins, Director of the Human Genome Project and author of The Language of God, and Kelly Monroe Kullberg, founder of The Veritas Forum and author of Finding God Beyond Harvard, will keynote our annual conference, this year focused on living a life of integrity.

Recent / Upcoming Speakers
TF Academy Staff
Each year the Trinity Forum Academy grants twelve outstanding young leaders a full graduate Fellowship to study, live and serve for nine months at Osprey Point. The Fellows are selected based on their proven academic success, demonstrated leadership ability, eagerness to learn, willingness to serve, and sincerity in following Christ.
Sorcha Brophy-Warren (Academy Class of 2006)
The last year of economic upheaval in the US has proved unfortunately fortunate timing for researchers working on the topic of personal debt. Frightened by the subprime mortgage debacle, rising fuel prices, and usurious lending practices in the headlines, everyone is ready for some insight into the crisis of overindebtedness.
