The Trinity Forum Readings

Trinity Forum Readings bookletsPublished three times a year, The Trinity Forum Readings are small booklets of between 20 and 50 pages featuring short biographies, essays, and classic stories. An original foreword, often written by a Senior Fellow or Forum Moderator, gives modern issues a historical context. Biographical pieces include George Washington, William Wilberforce, and Abraham Lincoln. Stories have included great works by Leo Tolstoy, Mark Twain, and Victor Hugo.

The Readings make thought-provoking gifts and are often used by groups for deeper discussion (such as the focus of a dinner party). Discussion guides are available for several selections (noted below, with an asterisk). If you need a discussion guide for another selection, .

We also offer elegant slip-cases for purchase. They hold between twelve and fourteen Readings booklets.

I fear, wherever riches have increased, the essence of religion has decreased in the same proportion. Therefore, I do not see how it is possible, in the nature of things, for any revival of religion to continue long. For religion must necessarily produce both industry and frugality, and these cannot but produce riches. But as riches increase, so will pride, anger, and love of the world in all its branches.

John Wesley
