The Trinity Forum Update

The Trinity Forum Update

December 23, 2009

This short update includes our wishes for a Merry Christmas, a link to a new podcast, and two other updates from the Trinity Forum Academy.

Max McLean Conversation Audio

Last week we held a delightful evening Conversation with actor Max McLean about transcendence in the performing arts and the challenges of interpreting C. S. Lewis’s infamous character, the devil Screwtape.

McLean, currently starring in The Screwtape Letters at the Lansburgh Theater in Washington, opened the evening with a performance of Lewis’s “Screwtape Proposes a Toast,” and was then interviewed by Trinity Forum President Cherie Harder and the other participants. We are pleased to make available to you an MP3 recording of the evening. You can download it here (29 MB, 1:04). We are sure you will enjoy it as much as we did.

(Max and Cherie also recorded a separate podcast which will be released later for members of the Trinity Forum Society. If you have not yet joined the Society, you can do so here.) Additional photos from the evening are available on our Facebook page.

Merry Christmas!

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
