Kathy Wills Wright Trustee of the Trinity Forum

Kathy Wills Wright has twenty-five years of experience in communications, marketing, fundraising, and government relations. She was elected as a Trustee of the Trinity Forum in 2010.

Mrs. Wright serves as the Executive Vice President of Halftime Talent Solutions. Previously she served as the Senior Vice President for Strategic Initiatives for Baylor University. She currently serves on the Board of Regents at Baylor University as well as the board of the C.S. Lewis Institute.

Previously, she served as the President of the Legacy Educational Foundation, a compassionate conservative public policy organization. Mrs. Wright held several political appointments in the George W. Bush Administration. She served as the Special Assistant to the President and Acting Director and Deputy Director of the USA Freedom Corps at the White House, an office created to promote and expand volunteer service in America.

Mrs. Wright was also commissioned to serve as the Special Assistant to the President for Legislation and Policy in the White House Office of Faith-Based & Community Initiatives. While serving in the White House, she directed the White House Christian Fellowship, a weekly meeting hosting national and international Christian leaders.

Prior to serving in the White House, Mrs. Wright served at the United States Department of State as the Senior Advisor to the Secretary and the White House Liaison where she advised the Secretary on Presidential appointments, ambassadorships, boards, commissions, and UN delegations.

Other positions she has held include the Director of Communications at the Dallas Theological Seminary, Director for Marketing at Thomas Nelson Publishers in Nashville, Tennessee, and Vice President of Public Affairs for United Seniors Association in Washington, D.C.

Mrs. Wright holds a BA and MA from Baylor University. She is married to Dr. Don Wright, who serves as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Health, Director of the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion at the Department of Health and Human Services. They reside in Arlington, Virginia.
