Additional details:

The Trinity Forum and the Cade Museum will host an inaugural Evening Conversation in Gainesville with Dr. Nigel Cameron at the Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention

During this discussion, we will examine the social and ethical impacts of rapidly emerging new technologies. Our program will begin with light appetizers and drinks at 6:00pm, followed by the lecture and audience questions.

This Evening Conversation is the launch of a new initiative on “Technology and Human Flourishing” in hopes of catalyzing conversations and reflection among civic leaders and the general public on “the Big Questions” of today's times.

Nigel Cameron is a graduate of Cambridge and Edinburgh Universities, and the Edinburgh Business School. For ten years, he was the president of the Washington, DC think tank The Center for Policy on Emerging Technologies. His most recent books are The Robots are Coming: Us, Them, and God, and Will Robots Take Your Job? A Plea for Consensus.
