Evening Conversation with Peter Kreeft and Eugene Rivers

What is ideology? What do our ideological frameworks help reveal about ourselves, others, and the world around us — and what do they obscure? What are the consequences of an era when seemingly every human issue is viewed through an ideological lens, and if there’s a new aperture we need to create, what should characterize its dimensions?

The Trinity Forum and Comment magazine are delighted to partner for the first time in an evening conversation exploring precisely these questions. On Monday, October 18, from 6:30 – 8:30 PM at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., Cherie Harder and Anne Snyder will moderate a conversation with Dr. Peter Kreeft and Rev. Eugene Rivers to unpack the nature and implications of ideology’s reign in our present culture — both what it’s doing to our intellectual vitality as a society, but perhaps more urgently, what it’s doing to our civic and organizational life across sectors and geography. The conversation will begin with appetizers and drinks followed by remarks and audience questions, and all who are able to attend in person will receive a complimentary copy of Comment’s fall issue.

If you are unable to join us in person, we invite you to join us virtually through a Facebook livestream at 7:00pm EST on Monday, October 18th. This can be accessed on the Trinity Forum Facebook page and there is no need to register to attend the livestream. This Evening Conversation will be recorded and made available for viewing after the event.

Please note: to protect the health and safety of our guests, we are limiting capacity to 100 attendees so reserve your ticket today!
