Join us for a Trinity Forum Reading Group:

This Child Will Be Great

We are delighted to invite you to our next Washington DC Reading group for a timely discussion on our Trinity Forum Reading, "This Child Will Be Great," featuring selections from the autobiography of Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, the former President of Liberia, who just ended her twelve year tenure as head of state this week.

The Reading includes an insightful introduction by global health and development expert Jonathan Quick. We are thrilled to have Dr. Quick moderate this special discussion at the office of our foreword author, Carrie Hessler-Radelet

Trinity Forum Reading groups provide opportunities to reflect on and discuss great works of literature and letters. This Reading highlights President Sirleaf's reflections on prayer, suffering, and courage, and raises important questions for leaders seeking to bring reform, justice, and greater flourishing to their own spheres of influence.

Leading the discussion will be Dr. Jonathan D. Quick, who is a Senior Fellow at the Management Sciences for Health, and serves on the faculty of Harvard Medical School and Boston University School of Public Health. His new book, The End of Epidemics, draws on the lessons from a century of epidemics, including Liberia's ultimately successful fight against Ebola. "Jono" has moderated Trinity Forum events in Boston and Washington, DC, as well as for Trinity Forum Europe in Brussels, Geneva, and Montreux. He has contributed Forewords to the Trinity Forum Readings "Telling Truth to Kings" and "Long Walk to Freedom."
