This holiday season, we are delighted to present our latest Trinity Forum Reading, featuring selections from Madeleine L’Engle’s beautiful work, Bright Evening Star: Mystery of the Incarnation, with a foreword by poet Luci Shaw (who was a close friend of Madeleine’s), and an introduction by singer and fellow fantasy novelist Andrew Peterson.
In this Reading, Madeleine L’Engle, prominent novelist of over 45 books, including A Wrinkle in Time, shares a personal reflection on the wonder of Advent and the Incarnation of Jesus. In this unique and personal reflection on the majesty of the incarnation of Jesus, L’Engle asserts, “Christmas should be a time of awed silence.” She evokes imagery of her childhood in New York City, memories of war, and other profound applications of her understanding of the second person of the Trinity, who calls us each by name.
Unfortunately we cannot ship this reading internationally at this time, but please check out the rest of our store that has many readings available to ship worldwide.
