Evening Conversation | Fear and Flourishing in the Age of Robots, with Nigel Cameron

The Trinity Forum and the Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention hosted their inaugural Evening Conversation in Gainesville with Dr. Nigel Cameron on “Fear and Flourishing in the Age of Robots.” During this discussion, we examined the social and ethical impacts of rapidly emerging new technologies.

This Evening Conversation was the launch of an initiative on “Technology and Human Flourishing” in hopes of catalyzing conversations and reflection among civic leaders and the general public on “the Big Questions” of today’s times.

Nigel Cameron is a graduate of Cambridge and Edinburgh Universities, and the Edinburgh Business School, and for ten years, he was the president of the Washington, DC think tank The Center for Policy on Emerging Technologies.
